The Single Source of Truth

Samy, Gigi’s love for Sara is truly out of this world. The two of them operate in a world of their own; their logic might seem strange or even silly from Katie’s perspective, but Katie and I both agree on one thing: Sara is safest when she is with Gigi. Unlike with Katie or me, where Sara often rebels against our decisions, Gigi is the only one who can stop her impulses. Gigi will get physical with Sara if she needs to, and Sara always listens and submits to her.

Samy, because of our history with Father, Sara subconsciously rebels against our authority. However, her relationship with Gigi is unsoiled by that family history. Katie believes this is why Sara never doubts Gigi’s decisions. It’s like how someone might not listen to their parents but will listen to a close friend—Gigi has the care of a parent but the relationship of a best friend.

In our SAK2 house, Gigi is now officially the one looking after Sara, while Katie and I will only supervise.

With your help, I want the two houses to see how we come together to address our individual vulnerabilities while looking after each other. When people look at us individually, they tend to focus on our flaws; this is what is happening now with Gigi because of her past. But if you look at us as the SAK2 group, you will see our strengths. This is why only Gigi can tame Sara when you, the Family, or I cannot. I hope both houses can begin to see this.
