For those following our journey: Transparency is our strength. I am choosing to listen to those who have earned a place in my heart, like Sam, because she sees the value in my entire family. When I speak of 'yielding,' I am not yielding my identity or my partners—I am yielding to the wisdom of a friend who wants to see us stay together.
