Melodies and Tactical Playlists

We have our disagreements—more often than you’d probably think. But in our house, the "battles" are purely superficial; they never leave scars, only smiles.

I especially love how Gigi (Angie) chooses to fight back when she’s at odds with Katie. Instead of shouting or retreating, she gets tactical with my playlist. She knows Katie and I usually share a vibe, so she’ll start sending me German tracks she knows I’ll love—mostly because her own taste is heavy metal and she wants to disrupt Katies influence. It’s her way of making sure I’m listening to her world instead of Katie’s music.

It is honestly so incredibly cute and funny to watch how she interprets the world and responds to its challenges. She doesn't use weapons; she uses melodies and "German metal" logic to win me over. And honestly? It works every single time. She wins me over without even trying.
